Following your dreams, the next morning or sooner.
I have come to realise that there are different kinds of dreams that come to humans in their sleep. The most common is what I call the brain maintainence dreaming. Seeminly dis- connected images that are things the brain sees during the course of the day during REM sleep are gone through and sorted and stored somewhere in the memory cells. They can be hard to remember and are truly disjointed if you do recall a small portion. Then there are the dreams where your mind is trying to image data it has recieved converting it into a dream scenario that can be remembered and the images can be interpreted by the concious mind into some sort of meaningful message to you. These are the kind that are most often the most nonsensical, bizarrely wierd, but will always have objects, colors, other people you either know or don't, but you remember how they look, what they say, etc. These are the kinds of dreams that a mulitude of books have been written to guide you in interpretation.
