Finding your background DNA
I mentioned a while back that I had done a DNA test through National Geographic.
I was looking for where to start in a search for my paternal grandmother. But it was not like
Some of the genealogy sites. It was way, way back, thousands of years worth.
I had my brother do the same a bit later. Between the two there was a lot of Neanderthal, and
actually an equal amount of a relatively unknown humanoid known as the Denisovans.
Denisovans were found in Siberia mostly. From my research many humans in Northern China
And Mongolia are carrying Denisovan genes. And groups of humans living in Siberia, the the Samoyed people. Some of genes went west to Scandanavia. The Sami people.
But where the Denisovan people originated, that is a question.
I started reading everything I could. It seems there were several species of human kind on this planet at one time period, in different areas of the world. And that doesn't match the long standing
Story spun for us about evolution. And a great deal of contention and controversy.
Now that is not my thrust here at all. I saw that my ancestors traveled a great deal, on both sides. And that they blended with not only other Homeosapiens, but other humans as well.
What do I wonder about? What was it like so far back thousands of years ago?
We must have had a more cooperative frame of mind, based on how many people at this point in time have ancient genes.
Not being naive here, know there were confrontations and battles. But too many people
Are coming up with Neanderthal genes from their Eureopean ancestry for it to be the odd event.
Others, like me, are carrying both Neanderthal&Denisova genes. I cannot believe humankind carried the prejudices and racial hatred we see in society today.
When did that start?
None of us are pure anything, no way, have your own DNA tested, believe me.
We are energy beings having a human experience, every thing else is only a matter of
