How do you want to experience life?

The best description of how we can choose to experience the world around us and how we can limit ourselves to a very safe existence I heard just the other day.

The speaker was comparing sitting in a bathtub to the way most people apply paramenters
and controls to how they live life and see what they want to .

In a bathtub, the water has to just be so high so it doesn't overflow, the temperature has to be adjusted to keep warm, not too cold, not too hot, and you only have so much wiggle room.

Learning to live with less control, less attachment to outcome means going from the bathtub to the ocean.

In the ocean, it is vast, you swim, and if you learn to leave the shore behind, it is you and the
ocean, and how about how long you can keep your head above water?

How about if you just let trust be your life preserver?

How about if you stop struggling and float for a while, relax and instead of being and feeling
separate, feel as if you are part of the ocean and it is part of you.

Is this a good visualization or what? How long do you think it will take you to become one
with the ocean? Play around with it, swim with the fishes, chat with the whales, ask to see
a mermaid, or just say wouldn't it be fun to ----------------, and see what happens.

If we are all just patterns of molecules forming into shapes of intelligent beings, and within that framework of energy holding patterns of intelligent life both here on Earth and everywhere else, well what do you think the Universe is, the field of existence is? Do we think we are separate from it?

Or are we both experiencing the Universe, as we are also it, and are we are creating our
everyday experiences in it?

Food for thought, try going from the bathtub to the ocean and see what you think.
